Senior Architectural Technologist

Salary: 70k - 85k

An excellent Architecture and planning firm is looking for a very talented and capable Senior Architectural Technologist with experience working on a variety of projects, to join their busy and collaborative team. This firm have a sound reputation and have a couple of studios; being well established in their respective environments. .THE JOB
The successful Architectural Technologist will be able to create full working drawing packages, construction documents and plans and be experienced in creating and submitting permit applications. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Senior Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management and communication skills. Project experience across high rise, multi-family, mixed use and commercial projects is preferred (some large and complex project experience is necessary), as are strong Revit skills and a sound knowledge of the national building code.WHAT\'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;

• Architectural Technology Diploma or related Architecture education from a recognised institution
• 8+ years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist
• Be currently living in Canada and have at least 5 years of experience working with the building codes in Canada
• Some multi-family, high rise or commercial experience is preferred
• Experience working with Revit is essential - strong capabilities required
• Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
