We are currently looking to add a Senior Animation Programmer to our already amazing team. As a "Snowmie" programmer, you will use your awesome skills in C++ / C# to help our client studios to bring their games to realization.

As an Senior Amination Programmer, you will work on the development of key animation systems for our clients. Some of these systems may include motion matching locomotion systems, IK solvers, miscellaneous sub-systems, and tools for animation playback.

You will use your passion for games, insatiable curiosity, and versatility to work on a variety of projects and across all aspects of game development. In return, you will be part of a creative and supportive team environment with the ability to have a direct impact on the development of top-tier games.

Are you up for the challenge?

Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing:

• Help optimize, and improve motion-matching locomotion systems
• Work closely and constructively with design and animation teams to realize our clients' ambitions
• Architect and coordinate the implementation of new animation systems and features
• Work within Unreal Engine 5 adapting existing systems and building new technology in order to fulfill the project's technical needs and creative goals
• Support planning efforts by estimating and dependency checking gameplay feature development
• Research coding techniques and algorithms in order to keep current on technological developments and advancements in the game industry
• Identify technical and developmental risks/obstacles and generate solutions to overcome identified risks

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

• Expertise with the C/C++ programming language along with a strong familiarity with Object-Oriented (OO) design principles
• 5+ years of programming experience on commercial software projects
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures
• Ability to learn and master new technologies and code
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines
• Must have strong 3D Math skills

Bonus points!

• Experience with console development (PS4, Xbox One, etc.)
• Experience with mobile development
• Shipped game(s)
• Experience working directly with external clients
