A career as a senior analyst in the tax slips management team means participating in the production of tax slips on behalf of all of the bank\'s business lines. Support the team in daily activities, initiate process improvement and get involved in their implementation. It also means being in charge of several special mandates and acting as an expert with other external or internal stakeholders such as business lines, IT teams, other operations teams (customer service, dividends, interests, market events, etc.).

Your knowledge of investment products, your agility and your problem solving capacities will allow you to succeed in this role.

This position reports to the manager of the Canadian tax slips management team for Non-registered accounts.

Your role:

  • Act as a resource person and provide advanced support for all activities related to the production of tax slips and information returns to canadian fiscal authorities.
  • Detect and resolve complex production issues.
  • Lead quality control measures to ensure data integrity, validate the reliability of systems and the compliance of the tax slips produced.
  • Review work processes to improve them and keep procedures up to date.
  • Act as a resource person and communicate with governments to resolve problems encountered.
  • Perform various analyses to ensure operational efficiency and rectify noncompliant practices.
  • Support team members or partners by helping them respond to complex requests from service teams or clients.
  • Take part to the realization of projects or special mandates related to regulatory changes, new business needs or arising from continuous improvement: understand the needs, define the impacts, develop solutions, perform acceptance tests, implement the changes.
  • Be a key asset in change management by playing an ambassadorial role through your leadership.

Competencies required
  • Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience, OR Master\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of investment products and/or the field of tax slips
  • Experience in operations in the banking industry and good knowledge of securities, desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
  • Autonomy, sens of responsibility and initiative
  • Good time and priority management
  • Ability to work under pressure, versatility and thoroughness
  • French/English bilingualism necessary, as you will regularly deal with partners located outside Quebec
