The Senior Analyst - Submissions and Pricing will be responsible for developing submissions to provincial, public and private payers for new and established brand, biosimilars and generic products to obtain reimbursement across Canada within the timelines established by Market Access; maintain up-to-date reimbursement records and documentation for brand, biosimilars and generic products with public/private payers and conduct Retail RFP analyses and work with the Trade team to establish and gain approval for optimal pricing proposals with the intent of maintaining and/or growing our generics business within the retail market.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• 
  Evaluate current guidelines and provincial public/private payer regulations to identify the submission requirements.
• 
  Prepare and submit complete submissions to CADTH/pCODR, pCPA and provincial public/private payers by the timelines established by MA.
• 
  Coordinate with other departments as required to obtain information for submissions.
• 
  Monitor all product submissions and listings.
• 
  Track through the formulary inbox all CADTH/pCODR and provincial public/private submissions, approvals, deficiency comments, notifications from the provinces and inform key internal stakeholders within 48 hours; work with MA to ensure responses to payers are submitted by set timelines.
• 
  Prepare and submit Product Monograph updates and notification of changes (i.e manufacturers name, chemistry) to provincial public payers.
• 
  Input and monitor shortages into the Drug Shortage database.
• 
  Monitor and communicate CADTH/pCODR, pCPA and provincial public/private payer regulatory updates that potentially impact our reimbursement status .
• 
  Retail RFP Analysis.
• 
  Respond and analyze RFP and customer pricing request including price reductions and right of first refusals.
• 
  Coordinate and manage pricing approvals with Pricing Committee.
• 
  Develop and review Retail customer rebate structures, and track performance.
• 
  Analyze Retail awards and offers to recommend strategic pricing changes.
• 
  Other ad hoc reports and tasks as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• 
  Minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• 
  2- 3 years experience in the area of pricing submissions and/or market access.
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 
  Strong analytical skills.
• 
  Ability to present analysis in a clear, concise manner.
• 
  Strong team player.
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 
  Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationship.
• 
  Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.

  Strong computer application skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
