In this role, you will:
Lead and conduct research and analysis to prepare intelligence assessments on organized and serious crime trends in the province.
Provide statistical analysis of data sources to enhance analytics capabilities.
Collect, manipulate, and integrate large data sets, applying the best analytic and statistical techniques for optimal results.
Advise and assist federal and provincial law enforcement and criminal intelligence agencies on strategic analysis and tracking.

You are skilled in research and analytical techniques, including trend analysis and multi-source research.
You can integrate various analyses and summarize complex information.
You can identify patterns and indicators to support strategic intelligence, policing operations, and resource planning.

You can:
Use predictive analytics, mathematics, and statistical methods to analyze data.
Identify trends and relationships to assess risks and guide decisions.
Translate diverse data into dashboards and models.
Recognize patterns between unrelated entities and inspect data systems for issues.
Policy Development Knowledge
You can:
Understand strategic policy development, government decision-making, and program evaluation.
Provide recommendations for strategic and operational planning.
Understand provincial and ministry directions on organized crime, relevant laws, and intelligence operations.
Identify key issues impacting community safety.
Performance Measurement Skills
You have:
Experience with performance measurement techniques, tools, and KPIs to streamline processes and develop dashboards.
An understanding of procedures for handling classified material and security clearance to ensure safety.
Communication Skills
You have communication skills to draft policy papers, reports, and presentations.
You understand public consultation principles to network with intelligence operations.
You are proficient with applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and can use the Internet for research and material preparation.
