Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provides functional support and advisory services to business users for development, implementation, maintenance and upgrading of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and related interfaces. Supports management decision making processes across Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) by ensuring that users have the necessary support and training to effectively use the EAM system. Identifies opportunities for business process improvements along with system related changes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Acts as a first point of contact and provides day to day support for end users on EAM including incident investigation and functional integration support. Develops business and system process documentation and training materials; facilitates training for designated EAM users across Coast Mountain Bus Company, as assigned.
Provides functional support for implementation and maintenance of the EAM system, reporting, and related interfaces with other maintenance systems. Administers EAM user security, manages security administration processes and provides requirements for role configuration.
Liaises with system users to conduct reporting requirements analyses for standard and customized reports or queries. Provides technical expertise to prepare, develop, produce, and support various reports necessary for management decision making.
Makes functional application configuration updates.
Acts as a subject matter expert for users across CMBC towards identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the EAM system; works with user groups to ascertain requirements to create functional design specifications for system processes, reporting, or interfaces development or to support the design, implementation, upgrade, or enhancement of the EAM system.
Leads user acceptance testing and integration testing for implementations, upgrades and enhancements, as assigned. Serves as a key user resource including developing and executing test scenarios, providing analysis, and making recommendations. Coordinates cross-functional team activities to ensure timely resolution of complex interface issues.
Reviews and documents business processes; develops and implements recommendations for improvements towards efficient and accurate processing of maintenance information. Prepares presentations and information for users on proposed EAM system changes and delivers the presentations as assigned.
Accountable for data standards and user security related to the EAM system, including providing and maintaining user access and updating reporting catalog and data dictionary.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The requirements of the role can be acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology or other related discipline with courses in information technology, plus five (5) years of progressive experience in a large organization with an enterprise asset management system.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Solid knowledge and experience of the features, processes and concepts of an enterprise asset management system
Solid knowledge of and experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI, Cognos and SQL
Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology and working with Agile teams
Solid analytical skills to develop, monitor and track enterprise asset management systems as well as to conduct incident investigations
Solid interpersonal skills and business relationship management to interact & advise users of the EAM system and to gather information with regards to creating functional design specifications for system processes
Solid time management and organizational skills to coordinate support and reporting activities for multiple projects
Experience in system administration roles as well as in administering user security
Strong writing skills to be able to develop training and business and system process documentation as well as verbal communication skills for working with user groups to identify requirements to create functional design specifications.

Rate of Pay
---------------
The salary for this position ranges from $82,400 - $123,600 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
