The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Contracts, Processes & Procedures to join our NAPG Contracts team in Sudbury. This is a full-time position.

This role will be focused on process and procedure development, implementation, training and Compliance Support, while adhering to existing Company standards and supporting the implementation of Vale Production System (VPS) requirements. This role will also be responsible for managing and supporting the resolution of Contract and Supply Chain Management Compliance and Audit action items.

The position considers multiple interfaces within the company (Global PMO, FP&A, Operational Excellence etc.) and inside the project (almost all areas), being a key part of the project decision making processes, providing recommendations in a data driven environment.

Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Develop, implement, update and maintain processes, procedures and templates to support Regional Contracts and Supply Chain Management activities.
  • Coordinate and implement the standardization of processes, procedures and templates at the NAPG Level and across project areas.
  • Identify and document regional specificities that impact standardized processes and procedures and implement regional procedural modifications, where required.
  • Analyze existing routines, processed and procedures to identify gaps and areas of risk exposure and develop and implement strategies and improvements to eliminate the risk or gap.
  • Develop and deliver training for Contract and Supply Chain Management processes and procedures.
  • Identify, implement and track supplemental training activities for the team.
  • Manage, coordinate and support development and implementation of functional area VPS action items.
  • Ensure that all VPS requirements are identified and addressed in processes and procedures.
  • Develop a routine structure for Contract Management activities to support increased team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate Compliance and Company Audit reviews with the Regional Contracts and Supply Chain Management Teams.
  • Conduct the tracking and resolution of Project Compliance and Company Audit action items.
  • Function as an interface and liaison for external stakeholders to improve processes and procedures and implement changes required by other areas and support the rollout and implementation of changes with the regional teams.
  • Coordinate the identification, development, implementation, training and management of function area systems with the Senior Analyst, Performance.
About You

Education:
  • Undergraduate Degree.
Experience:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience
Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge and expereince for developing, implementing and managing process and procedures for Contracts and Supply Chain Managment.
  • Experience in managing and resolving Compliance and Audit action items.
  • Extensive experience with Contract and Supply Chain Management in a capital project environment.
  • Extensive knowledge in performance management, data visualization and reporting skills.
  • Experience in working with SharePoint environment (including Lists), database management and other IT applications for project information integration and reporting.
  • Experience working for a large multinational organization is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated good communication, organizational skills, and problem solving abilities.
