The location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of

Senior Agent, Accounts Payable

. This job is full-time permanent.



Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts payables, your role will consist in ensuring the optimal administration of Accounts payables process and support financial operations.


Your challenges:


Manage inboxes for transport and logistics invoice Oversee weekly parked invoices Enter invoices into Domtar's payable systems Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies Communicate with locations, vendors, and managers to maintain updated records Ensure proper follow-up of established business processes Assist Supervisor with accounts payables reconciliation Participate in payment runs (Checks & ACH) and daily cash reconciliations Suggest improvements to assigned tasks



Required Education & Experience:


College diploma in Accounting Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payables processing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with SAP and JDE (SAP knowledge considered an asset) College diploma in Accounting Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proactive and collaborative team player Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
