Work collaboratively with contractors and employer representatives to strengthen and harmonize RTW programs across the industry.
SAFETY
Act as a collaborative member of the greater safety team, contributing to overall safety strategy, program development, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
PROCESS IMPLEMENTATION
Explore and implement innovative approaches to providing meaningful modified work for injured workers, ensuring safe and efficient reintegration.
ASSIST
Proactively jump in to assist with other industry safety initiatives and programs as they arise.
VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION
Oversee vocational rehabilitation initiatives across the industry, supporting workers in training for alternative or transitional roles where appropriate.
ANALYSIS & SOPS
Identify and assess successful approaches to claims management within the industry and integrate them into standard operating procedures (SOPs).
STRATEGY
Provide oversight and strategic guidance for claims where the BCMEA acts as the injury employer, ensuring effective management and resolution.
COMMUNICATION
Maintain regular communication with terminal claims representatives as well as third-party contractors to stay informed about ongoing claims, particularly those that are complex or require special attention or appeal.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE
