Senior Advisor, Research Finance
Job Description
The Senior Advisor, Research P&A will work with the Research Vice President, Research Administrative Directors and their management teams and with the research studies Project Director/Manager (PD/PM) and Investigator (PI) to achieve and maintain effective financial management, control and strategic planning while working within the corporate policies and procedures of HHS.
Qualifications * Accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified General
Accountant (CGA) or comparable Investment Designation * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with budgeting
- Proven ability to analyze research, manage and work independently
- Intermediate or better computer skills in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
- Not-for-Profit Organization experience an asset
