As a senior Oracle Fusion advisor, you actively participate in developing a highly complex, large-scale business solution that has a significant impact on the entire organization.

You respond to a variety of change or patch requests related to a project or a product. You handle analyses and ensure the development and upgrading of large-scale software products that are part of business solutions.

You meet the needs of members and clients and ensure the quality and security of solutions. You help define the implementation strategy, carry out the tests required within your scope, participate in implementation and take responsibility for resolving incidents.

You\'re able to make strategic decisions and be accountable for them. You lead and serve as a specialist in the continuous delivery, maintenance and updating of solutions.

You lead your team and regularly collaborate with other teams. You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert for clients and partners. As a team player, you demonstrate open-mindedness towards Agile approaches, which also means versatility and a desire to contribute to all work the team does.

General Information on the Position

The role consists primarily of working as a functional analyst for our new Oracle Fusion cloud solution. More specifically, you\'ll work with the Profitability and Cost Management application and the Planning and Budgeting cloud application.

Main responsibilities

Coach the team in analyzing and advancing business solutions in order to increase their delivery speed

Collaborate, as a specialist, on the feasibility/detailed design of the solution

Work co-creatively with our business partners to define needs and manage backlogs

Define specific functional specifications/exceptions in collaboration with the product owner and project team

Advise and guide the development team and product owner by recommending different functional alternatives aligned with the architecture

Help define and orient various scopes (story documentation, releases, sprints, projects, tests)

Oversee the development of functional testing strategies in collaboration with the architect

Define, guide and ensure that automated and/or manual tests are carried out within your scope (specific cases/exceptions) from an end-to-end perspective

Ensure that the required documentation is produced or updated. Take responsibility for implementing and managing incidents/problems within your scope

Monitor development technologies and practices and serve as a mentor for the development team in terms of technology and methods.

Other working conditions

Workplace: Position located in Levis, Montreal, Mississauga or Aurora, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in a related field

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Have an accounting background (an asset)

For vacant positions available in Ontario, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

Good knowledge of the Oracle EBS product (an asset)

Knowledge of the Profitability and Cost Management application and the Planning and Budgeting cloud application (an asset)

Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with (language)-speaking partners, members and/or clients
