Your future role on our team




Reporting to the Director of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), you'll primarily support occupational health and safety to ensure compliance with BBA's prevention program in all our activities. You'll be responsible for Western Canada.

Ensure compliance with the firm's health and safety (H&S) program Manage and complete HSE-related strategic plan objectives Help develop and improve our H&S management system Help develop the firm's culture and leadership to reach the interdependent stage Help improve our processes to ensure compliance with H&S rules at our offices and on sites Analyze and improve our regional H&S performance indicators Advise local H&S committees Understand H&S-related laws, regulations, standards, client requirements and best practices Participate in projects with various stakeholders

Summary of certifications and job requirements





More than 10 years of experience in health and safety At least 3 years of experience in the mining industry Experience in H&S management systems Experience in multi-office and multi-regional management College diploma, university certificate or bachelor's degree in H&S Solid experience with and knowledge of Microsoft planning tools Solid knowledge of investigations, audits, and mergers and acquisitions processes Solid knowledge of Canadian H&S laws and regulations Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Quebec Asset: CRSP certification
