Salary: $93,070 to $116,337 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)

Closing Date: August 3, 2024Position SummaryThe Senior Administrator, Power Platform operates with a high degree of autonomy, exercising independent judgment to resolve complex problems, performing incident and problem management. This position acts as the senior liaison between customers, departments and other technical teams to lead technology solutions strategy and delivery, acting as a lead for change management activities in their domain(s) of expertise; recommending and evaluating solutions and upgrades to existing technologies. This role also contributes to the development of new and/or the improvement of existing policies and procedures, assisting with training of team members, and performing cross-functional and/or or other duties as assigned and/or requested.In the Senior Administrator, Power Platform role you will guide the enterprise adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of other enterprise applications. Your expertise and technical problem-solving skills, will empower our teams to work efficiently, improve user experiences, and maintain the integrity and security of our environments.DutiesPower Platform Specific Responsibilities

  • Act as the resident expert for Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • Implement, configure and administer the CoE Starter Kit.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365 can be better leveraged and facilitate business process improvement.
  • Update, create, and maintain enterprise governance documentation and administration processes.
  • Lead and empower Citizen Developers and Power users to leverage the Power Platform in alignment with technology standards.
Application Support Specific Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing, configuring and optimizing enterprise applications.
  • Coordinate and execute upgrades, patches and add-on installations to ensure alignment with enterprise and industry best practices.
  • Provide end user technical support as needed.
Technology Solutions, Strategy and Architecture
  • Lead continuous quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead customer service in facilitation of end user meetings, clinical or business discussions or organize ad hoc meetings, as per end user availability.
Incident and Problem Management
  • Update the UHN Digital incident and problem management ticketing system on case status and resolution.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction while resolving all tangible problems, concerns or requests for information.
  • Participate in 24x7 On Call Rotation.
Corporate Responsibilities
  • Act as an Ambassador for various Organizational Committees and Project Teams.
  • Represent UHN Digital in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform cross-functional and/or other duties as assigned and/or required.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a bachelors degree in Computer Science or recognized equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two or more of the following technology certifications: Microsoft Certified IT Professional, ITIL Practitioner Certificate (ITIL Practitioner), MCSA Certification, Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-100/200/600)
  • At minimum, over 6 years practical and related experience and/or 2 years on-the job training required:
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services, including in-depth understanding of capabilities, boundaries, and constraints.
  • Supporting enterprise applications, environment management, and issue resolution.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting abilities
  • Microsoft 365 experience in an enterprise environment with over 1000 end users
  • Practical and working knowledge of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile Frameworks.
  • Preferred experience managing or supporting Jira, Confluence and BitBucket.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to systematically analyze situations/issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions and determine/recommend practical courses of action.
  • Understands how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
