Our projects vary in size ranging from small commercial developments to light industrial, government, community, and private sector facilities.

Your Opportunity

Our Yellowknife office has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our Buildings group.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support local leadership and team leads with various tasks.

Support project managers with project financials.

Provide assistance with accounts receivable.

Provide assistance with accounts payable and invoice coding.

Handle office duties including ordering, organizing and planning.

Create spreadsheets and presentations.

Act as a liaison with the property manager.

Assist with office health & safety requirements.

Present a positive and professional image of the office to all colleagues, visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other persons.

Undertake other duties as assigned; flexibility is key for success in this position.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and have a commitment for excellence in your field.

Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite with excellent skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

A valid Class 5 Drivers License.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong multi-tasking skills and demonstrated attention to detail.

Self-motivated and eagerness to learn.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to be persistent when needed.

Education and Experience

A minimum of 5 years\' experience in an administrative role.

A high school diploma, business administration diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
