Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Home Coffee Solutions Ltd. This role is pivotal in helping to oversee our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting our growth objectives. Located in Mississauga , this position will play a key role in shaping our financial strategies.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Lead reconciliation of invoices, statements, and company accounts Assemble and analyze key financial reports for management review Maintain meticulous record-keeping and support audit readiness Drive month-end and year-end close processes for AP & AR Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial records Communicate regularly with company leadership on timelines, workload, and key findings Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on AP & AR Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and regulatory requirements Advanced proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience in the retail and/or eCommerce sector is a significant asset

Understanding of retail and eCommerce accounting processes such as scanbacks, vendor rebates, payment gateway reconciliation, online sales tax, and refunds

Experience in a small business environment is an asset
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
