We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant on our Financial Reporting team. In this role you will perform general accounting functions in the global accounting department including the monthly close out process for all countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform revenue analysis in line with IFRS 15 reporting standards
• Perform monthly Cumulative Translation Adjustment analysis
• Maintain and update Property Plant and Equipment schedules
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Perform regular Goodwill impairment analysis
• Hands-on involvement in the monthly close process
• Assist in preparing the monthly financial statements
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Calculate and remit Sales and Use tax returns
• Monitor sales tax compliance in the United States and take necessary action as required
• Develop and update working papers and reconciliations as needed
• Assist with the documentation of current finance processes and internal controls, while recommending improvements and new controls
• Responding to documentation requests by the company\'s external auditor
• Provide relevant schedules and documentation required for corporate tax filing

This role could be a fit if you have:

• Min 3 years experience in a general accounting role
• Post-secondary education in Finance or related field
• Professional Accounting designation preferred but not required
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting for a group of international subsidiaries
• Working knowledge of financial software; preferably Microsoft NAV
