Job Overview

Senior accountant with personal and corporate tax experience required for day to day job at our small public accounting firm

What you'll do

Prepare and analyze financial statements Prepare compilation engagements Maintain and build relationships with client base bookkeeping for certain clients Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain financial accuracy Prepare tax returns (personal and corporate) Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management

Basic qualifications

Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and financial concepts Proficiency in technical accounting practices with experience in public accounting preferred

Preferred qualifications

Experience in non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus Knowledge of payroll processing and regulatory reporting requirements Familiarity with financial software tools that enhance efficiency in accounting tasks
