We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior

Accountant

to work within one of our companies in Whitby Ontario. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our full-cycle accounting and financial reporting and play a key role in maintaining accurate books, preparing monthly results, managing tax compliance, and work closely with our external CPA partner for oversight and year-end filings.

Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Manage month-end close and revenue reconciliation across all corporations Oversee HST/QST filings, EHT, WSIB, and corporate interim tax payments Handle Duty Drawback, CBSA Duty & GST submissions Lead bank, Visa, and cash reconciliations Supervise payroll accuracy and staff commissions Prepare property tax payments and support year-end review Maintain accounting systems and documentation for audit readiness Collaborate with the Accounting & Payroll Specialist to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, Business Administration or related Field. 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (multi-corporation experience a strong asset) Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, SAP or similar accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
