SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

OBJECTIVE

The Senior Accountant is a vital member of our finance team, responsible for providing essential financial support to our organization. We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within the organization.
• Manage budgets effectively to align with organizational goals.
• Generate reports that provide valuable insights for management decision-making as well as external stakeholders.
• Administer the accounting system while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Collaborate with other members of the finance team by offering support when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or any related field.
• CPA certification demonstrating your expertise in professional accounting practices
• 6-8 years\' experience working specifically within an accounting capacity preferably within a corporate setting
• A solid grasp on fundamental concepts pertaining to various aspects of accountancy
• Excellent analytical skills allowing you accurately interpret complex numerical data sets or information
• Strong problem-solving capabilities enabling timely resolution issues that may arise during day-to-day tasks
• Effective communication skills both verbal & written which will help liaise between different departments/teams efficiently
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel since it plays crucial part daily operation
