Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to deliver compilation and tax compliance engagements. The ideal candidate will gain significant accounting and tax experiences in a licensed CPA firm and pre-approved training office, working under the guidance of our senior managers, all of whom are Canadian designated accountants. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow in this position, to be able to perform compilations, personal and corporate tax returns and to be able to interact with clients directly.

Qualifications:

University degree or completion of advanced accounting courses

CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification such as HKICPA or ACCA, preferable but not required

-Candidates currently enrolled in CPA PEP with near completion or enrollment in CFE exam will also be considered

Minimum 2 years work experience in public practice

Good knowledge of Canadian tax laws and accounting principles

Proficient with Caseware, and Tax Profile Software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members

Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability

Fluency in speaking Cantonese and English
