ABOUT THE CLIENT

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, our client has continued to dominate the real estate and construction industry for the past 50 years! In addition, they have also expanded their business to industries like renewable energy, tourist attraction and restaurants. Currently, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! The ideal candidate has 3+ years of public practice

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the controller, the senior accountant will be responsible for full cycle corporate accounting work:

• Process financial reporting work for various entities.
• Work in collaboration with the operations, business and central tax group to provide timely and accurate financial results and analysis.
• Assists with the preparation of key internal financial summary reports and forecasts
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process.
• Assist in preparing year-end financial statements and working papers for external auditors.
• Preparation of monthly stand-alone and consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
• Work on ad hoc projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA or passed CFE
• 3+ years of public practice experience.
• Advanced excel skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $85,000 to $95,000
• 2 to 3 weeks\xe2\x80\x99 vacation
• Extended health and dental
• Discretionary bonus
