We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for our downtown Vancouver real estate client.
Hourly rate: Up to $45/HR
Contract length: 7 months
Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. You will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements
- Performing month-end full cycle accounting duties, including project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inter-company reconciliation, cash management, and GST tax filings
- Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Designed CPA preferred
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous full cycle accounting experience within industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
