About the Role





We're looking for a highly motivated

Senior Accountant

who will play a key role in managing Pine's financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounting activities. This is an opportunity to build and shape processes in a high-growth environment, work cross-functionally with Finance and Operations, and make a real impact as we scale.


What You'll Do




Oversee full-cycle accounting process, reviewing reconciliations and adjustments. Develop and refine accounting processes and controls to support Pine's continued growth. Contribute to month end close, ensuring processes are in place for accurate and timely reporting. Take ownership of the financial statements and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy of all balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS/ASPE. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis alongside the Finance team. Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements. Partner with internal teams to support financial reporting and decision-making. Assist with system implementations and process automation initiatives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

What We're Looking For




CPA designation (required). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of IFRS or ASPE. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Startup experience is a strong asset - you're adaptable, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Experience with cloud-based accounting software is a plus.
