Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly communicative Senior Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with co-op students, junior accountants, and client leads to ensure accounting projects run smoothly from start to finish. You will play a key role in supporting core accounting functions, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and providing thoughtful analysis and insights to management.

What You'll Be Doing
Manage and prioritize internal and external correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities
Provide support for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions
Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Conduct research on accounting and tax matters and prepare supporting materials for management review and presentations
Analyze financial variances and prepare reports using NetSuite
Document, distribute, and track meeting minutes, including follow-up on assigned action items
Collaborate with and support junior team members and co-op students through guidance and mentorship
Support ad hoc initiatives and contribute to ongoing process improvements
What You Must Have
Exceptional communication skills with a high level of professionalism
Strong accounting and financial reporting background
CPA designation or near completion
Experience working with small to mid-sized private companies (up to 100 employees)
Public practice experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure
Positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to learn
Openness to feedback and constructive criticism
Strong technical aptitude, including advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems

Salary & Perks
Salary range of $75,000-$90,000, based on experience and qualifications
