SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys diving into the details, and takes pride in maintaining financial accuracy. Reporting to the CFO, you'll play a key role in month-end closing, reporting, and annual audits.

What You'll Do

Prepare month-end journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations Support weekly and monthly bank reporting Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting records Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations Assist with accounts payable functions, including weekly payment runs Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex vendor inquiries and internal discrepancies Maintain compliance with company policies and tax regulations (e.g., HST) Support year-end audits and ad hoc reporting projects

What You Bring

Accounting degree, designation, or enrollment in a CPA program 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (retail or multi-entity, an asset) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset
