Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounting practices, financial analysis, and the use of various accounting software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization through accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing complex accounting functions, supporting audits, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across multiple platforms.

Duties



Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft. Perform account reconciliations including bank reconciliation and account analysis to verify data integrity. Oversee bookkeeping activities and maintain detailed records for audit purposes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support organizational goals. Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation. Process payroll accurately using relevant payroll systems and ensure timely payments. Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies or irregularities. Support corporate finance activities including financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.

Skills



Proven expertise in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation procedures. Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis to ensure precise financial records. Familiarity with corporate finance principles including budgeting, auditing, and financial services. Ability to perform detailed account analysis and support internal controls effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical skills combined with effective communication abilities for reporting complex financial data clearly. Prior experience in payroll processing is preferred but not required.
