Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

2. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.

3. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

4. Preparation of compilation engagements

5. Preparation of Review engagements

6. Preparation of corporate tax returns

7. Preparation of T1/T3/T4/T4As/T5s/T5018s returns

8. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Completed or Enrolled in the CPA program

3. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.

4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

5. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

6. Proficient in QuickBooks Online

7. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
