We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.Responsibilities:
Conduct compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping and tax engagements.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and prepare corporate tax returns.
Correspondence with clients and tax authorities.
Prepare personal tax returns and information returns, as required.
Lead and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary updates.
Qualifications:
CPA designation
2 to 3 years of public accounting with a focus on medium-sized clients.
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software, tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
