Primary Purpose

: As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a senior accountant to join our team. This position provides an exciting opportunity with lots of room for advancement especially into a management position or a partnership opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities

:

Financial statement preparation for compilations, review engagements and audits Preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns Various other accounting and taxation engagements such as cash-flow projections, rollovers and reorganizations, trust returns, software training, etc. would be available depending on the candidate's interests and capabilities

Skills, knowledge & work experience

:

CPA designation Minimum of three years of experience in public practice Passion for accounting with great attention to detail Problem solving and decision making skills Strong project and time management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great client service skills Experience in CaseWare and Profile is considered an asset Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Remuneration

: Salary will be based on the candidate's experience. General training will be provided.
