We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in the housing industry. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Conduct financial auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees and trades.
Perform bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis as needed.
Collaborate with corporate finance teams to support strategic initiatives and financial planning.
Assist in the implementation of accounting software such as QuickBooks for improved efficiency.
Skills
Strong knowledge of financial auditing practices and procedures.
Proficiency in SAGE or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
Solid understanding of corporate finance principles and practices.
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliation tasks efficiently.
Expertise in budgeting processes and variance analysis techniques.
Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Able to handle multiply companies and ther finacials
Able to produce monthly financial reports as needed
