In this role, you will be called upon to play a key role in the preparation of financial statements for various business entities of the group. You will also participate in various continuous improvement and automation projects, which will allow you to collaborate with the financial information, information technology and operations teams.

The position is based at 1500, Boulevard Jules Poitras, Saint-Laurent.

When your actions lead to success.

• Develop and prepare various analyses of balance sheet items and implement control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Validate financial statements in collaboration with business entities and support operations.
• Participate in and coordinate the accounting closure of operational entities under his responsibility and investigate variances.
• Support projects for acquisitions, disposal of business entities and improvement of accounting processes.
• Provide documentation required for the external and internal auditors and for tax filings.
• Collaborate with the chief accountant in various sporadic projects.

When your expertise drives us.

• An accounting designation or in the process of obtaining one, an asset
• University degree in administration, accounting, or finance option
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Excellent command of Excel software
• Proficiency in ERP, People Soft and Infor-M3 software, an asset
• Bilingual: French and English ,as daily communication with North American operations is essential to the position. Spanish is an asset
