Job Purpose:



Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Tax, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily and monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances, ensuring the correct reporting in QuickBooks and other associated systems. This role also encompasses executing the administration and bookkeeping processes within the accounting department. Tasks include data entry, monthly/periodical reconciliation, end to end cycle accounting include month end, collecting transactions, maintaining and monitoring financial records, as well as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and tax payments.

Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:



Month end operations



Handling End to End cycle accounting operation Preparing Month end closing tracker and ensuring all procedures completion on time. Managing the bank reconciliation, accounts payable listing, aged receivables and other reconciliations. B2B customer accounting, up-to-date reconciliation. Review of all entities ledgers and preparing BS schedules Calculation of Accruals, prepaid expenses and posting the entries Maintenance of Fixed Asset Schedule and managing the monthly depreciation calculation Managing the Intercompany transactions and reconciliations Ensuring the co-ordination and communication around the team

General Accounting



Booking all journal entries accurately, completely, and on time in the correct administration. Processing incoming invoices in QuickBooks. Managing accounts payable and receivable. Keeping the general ledger accounts up to date. Filing invoices, bank statements, and scanning all documents. Managing the current account balances between group companies. Processing customer bank wire withdrawals and deposits. Monitoring account balances for local companies to ensure timely payment of invoices and salaries. Collaborating with BI/IT to automate accounting team processes.

Audit Support



Assist in addressing audit inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process, and facilitating the timely completion of audit requirements. Conduct internal Audit Procedures (Cut-off, Completeness and Accuracy of Financials)

Experience & Qualifications:



Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. Experience with QuickBooks or other Accounting Software. Strong communication skills with fluency in English. Careful handling of sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Keen attention to detail.

Knowledge & Experience:



Advanced bookkeeping education is required, such as a bookkeeping certificate. Experience with preparation of Financial statement is preferred. Experience in bank reconciliations and using QuickBooks. Familiarity with multicurrency transactions and working in multi-company groups. Official working language is English.
