Clover Administration Inc. is a boutique multi-family office specializing in comprehensive accounting, financial management and planning for a select number of ultra-high net worth/affluent Canadian families.

Our team is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join us on a full-time permanent basis. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our office located in downtown Toronto. The role contributes to various accounting and tax functions, ensuring our clients are consistently informed about their financial position and investments, and relieving them of the daily administrative responsibilities of managing their wealth.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:



Prepare personal, trust, GST/HST, and corporate tax returns. Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with tax advisory plans and strategies. Prepare working papers and financial statements used for tax purposes. Perform accounting and bookkeeping duties including drafting journal entries and reconciling accounts. Maintain accurate investment records by tracking portfolio transactions in Artiffex. Prepare quarterly family reports - including net worth statements, cash flow projections, investment portfolio detail and performance reports. Provide exceptional customer service to our clients; meet with clients at the office and virtually to review reports and discuss other matters. Correspond with CRA and government agencies as required. Liaise with auditors, investment firms and lawyers for specific client needs. Perform routine banking tasks including making deposits, paying bills, and bank reconciliations. Assist in identifying and implementing more efficient processes within the firm through the use of AI, automation, and emerging financial technologies to enhance accuracy and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:



Accounting degree/diploma with relevant experience CPA designation or actively working towards CPA is an asset Public accounting experience preferred, performing similar tasks for multiple clients Tax experience is a significant asset for this role Knowledge of investment accounting is an asset, but not necessary Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written) Superb interpersonal and customer service skills Able to quickly build rapport with clients and earn their trust Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Quick learner, technologically proficient and a self-starte Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; experience with accounting/tax software such QuickBooks, Taxprep, Cantax, Artiffex
