Job Description

Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Montreal
Salary: $80K to $100K

Our client, a well-established service company with production activities across Canada, is currently looking to add to its expanding team a Senior Accountant.

In this role reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing monthly financial statements and ensuring accuracy of the financial information
- Analyzing the corporation\'s financial statements
- Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial reports
- Participating in budget production and forecast
- Handling journal entries and reconciliation of GL accounts
- Coordinating the year-end audit for a number of entities
- Liaising with the external Consultant regarding internal controls

Qualifications:

- Bachelor\'s degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA) - or in progress (mandatory)
- Experience with financial statements
- Dynamism, self-motivation, and ability to work within a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and great interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills, integrity and autonomy
