Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliation and account analysis, to maintain accurate financial records. Oversee bookkeeping activities and ensure compliance with corporate finance regulations. Conduct audits of financial statements and internal controls to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights into business performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. Utilize accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for effective financial management. Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.

Skills

Proficiency in SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other accounting software is essential. Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, auditing practices, and financial services. Excellent skills in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, payroll management, account analysis, and budgeting. Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly to stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
