BinSentry is looking for a

Senior Accountant

who thrives in an agile environment and is passionate about building scalable processes. This is a hands-on role with significant growth potential, ideal for someone who is ready to take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities





Accounts & Allocations:

Oversee complex general ledger accounts including payroll, deferred revenue, inventory, and COGS.

Month-End Close:

Manage and execute the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Financial Reporting:

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE.

Audit Management:

Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing audit requests and supporting schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy as the company scales.

Collaboration:

Work cross-functionally with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Human Resources.



Qualifications




Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience. CPA designation or working towards it is highly preferred. Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) is a must. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
