Position: Senior Accountant
Location:downtown-remote
Salary: Up to $95K per year
Job Type: Permanent

Our client, a well-established software company with production activities across Canada, is currently looking to add a Senior Accountant to its expanding team. If you want to work in a very dynamic environment with growth opportunities and a strong team spirit, this may be your chance!

In this role reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for revenue recognition under IFRS
- Assessing IFRS adoption impacts;
- Contributing to preparation of financial reporting and disclosures;
- Validating the accuracy of data to ensure precise variable pay calculations;
- Contributing to indirect taxes registrations and compliance;
- Participating in special projects
- Coordinating the year-end audit for a number of entities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor\'s degree with a professional accounting designation (CPA, )
- Experience with financial statements - IFRS
- Dynamism, self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and great interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills, integrity and autonomy
