Nuvollo is a fast growing IT services company seeking a skilled

Senior Accountant

to join our Finance team. This role offers an opportunity to manage the full accounting cycle, ensure compliance in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and revenue recognition. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with EBITDA adjustments. Issue invoices and ensure timely billing for projects and client purchases. Review and approve employee expense reports; assist with payroll for Canadian, U.S., and international employees. Prepare and submit monthly HST filings and support annual tax filings and audits. Oversee multi-currency transactions and international payments. Monitor daily cash flow and provide actionable insights to leadership. Mentor the Bookkeeper to ensure operational excellence. Maintain compliance with ASPE and Canadian tax regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and payroll processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Experience with international payroll and multi-currency transactions is an asset. CPA designation or active pursuit preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
