Senior Accountant

to join our team at

Thorncrest Ford.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for full cycle Accounting Reconciling schedules and bank statements Maintaining general ledgers Maintain management information reports and prepare financial statements Schedules and statements reconciliation Understanding of Internal Controls and their importance Expense analysis Establish and implement appropriate internal controls to help improve efficiency of operations GST, PST Filing Preparation Month end close procedures, quarterly, and year-end audit working papers Other related duties as assigned by management

Qualification:

3+ years of accounting experience at an Automotive Dealership would be an asset. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent CPA Designation or near achievement Experience working with department managers to enhance controls and reduce expenses Proficient in Microsoft Excel Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be extremely organized and detail-oriented CDK and One-Eighty experience would be an asset
