Senior Accountant (Contract to Perm)
Our client is on the search for a Senior Accountant to join their team! The successful candidate will be an experienced full cycle accountant with excellent attention to detail and a team player attitude. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Execute full cycle accounting functions; assist the Controller directly with the month-end process and financial statements related activities.
- Prepare daily sales reports and weekly cash reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and investigate variances.
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable teams in a mentoring capacity
- Contribute on ad-hoc projects as needed
- CPA designation is a major asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a must
- Strong analytical skills are required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a team in a mentorship capacity when needed.
