Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (On site)

Pay:

CA$50,000.00-CA$58,000.00 per year

About Us:

For over 40 years, FB Canada Express has been a leader in cross-border and international parcel clearance. As our business continues to grow, our accounting team is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Senior Accountant to support increased operational demands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within a well-established organization.

Duties:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Perform budgeting, customer billing, and account reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports using Sage 50. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Analyze accounts and provide financial insights to support management decisions. Perform general bookkeeping tasks. Assist with preparation and reconciliation of sales tax returns. Support annual year-end processes and assist external auditors.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate in Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc..) Minimum 3 years of previous accounting experience. Experience with Sage 50, Simply Accounting or Quickbooks Strong communicative, analytical & administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent communication skills in English (Intermediate French) Willing to learn. Sense of initiative
