Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and the use of various accounting software. Strong computing / IT skills plus expert knowledge of excel + SPIRE IS REQUIRED. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization by managing complex accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

Duties



Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial data. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other tools to record, track, and report financial transactions. Conduct auditing activities to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Oversee payroll processing and related reporting functions. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account analysis. Support budgeting processes by providing detailed financial analysis and forecasts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial services projects and process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations related to finance and accounting.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role within a corporate finance environment. Proficiency in accounting software such as SPIRE, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, and financial reporting standards. Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account analysis. Ability to perform budgeting tasks with precision and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Pay: $56,032.05-$98,260.95 per year
