Job Description

Our client, in the aviation industry, is in need of the interim support of a full cycle accountant for a 3-month term with the possibility of extension. Some of the main duties of the role are accounting for job orders within QuickBooks, along with full cycle of AR, AP, GL account reconciliations and oversight, and working knowledge of Canadian tax returns (GST, PST, corporate taxes). You will work directly with the operations team on site and will be providing financial statement and reporting to the parent located outside of Canada.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, be able to improve the close and accounting process and preferably have a CPA designation or multiple years of experience to be a strong contributor to the organization. This role also offers a hybrid work option.
