Job Description


The Senior Account Manager will manage a team of in-house Account Managers from concept to execution. Primary responsibilities include: creative strategy and design, event sourcing and negotiations, talent acquisition, training and field execution, vendor negotiation/management, budget management and analytical event reporting. This position is located in our Chicago Experiential Marketing office.

This is a great opportunity to work on a leading technology brand across all facets of experiential marketing through field marketing, PR stunts, regional and national events and channel specific advocacy events/parties, viral campaigns and digital executions.

Challenge and manage a team of 5- 10 in-house Account Managers & Junior Account Managers;

Serve as the primary contact for execution partners, national and regional clients;

Provide strategic insights during development/planning and reporting;

Administrative oversight (HR, recruiting, accounting, legal);

Tracking and maintaining all program budgets with revenue accountability;

Crisis management - identify field issues and develop solutions;

Provide weekly status updates on program results/personnel, client program reporting and reviews; and

Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Marketing or related field;

Seven or more years of Experiential Marketing experience (preferably beverage experience required);

Client service and overall program management experience (concept, implementation and execution with excellence);

Experience managing a team of Market Managers/Event Managers; and

Previous experience dealing with multiple execution partners (agencies, manufacturers, field teams).

Strong client communication skills (insight, analysis, and program reporting);

Solid understanding of social media tools and digital platforms;

Strong computer application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work in a digital work environment; and

Must be available to work flexible work hours which will include evenings and/or weekends at times.
