Senior Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you'll collaborate closely with our teams to lead prospective client communications, develop proposals and pitches, support strategic planning, and contribute directly to revenue growth. In your role as Account Director, you will be expected to:

Secure opportunities with public and private sector clients in Canada and the United States, including web design and development projects, ongoing evolution and support retainers, and growth and value oriented audits and training opportunities Leverage both inbound leads and plan and conduct outbound activities through proactive and creative prospecting Work with technology and sales partners to jointly develop leads and opportunities Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to answering RFIs/RFPs & pitching to contract negotiation, with a focused and cadenced sales cycle. Own a revenue target that will directly contribute to company revenue objectives Act as a strategic advisor to clients, sharing industry trends, insights, and best practices to help clients stay competitive. Develop and approve briefs for projects, providing guidance and direction to account and project teams Attend industry events on a regular basis, both in Montreal and across North America, leveraging industry and prospect knowledge to build a community around our work Lead and participate in presentations and other activities to enhance agency-client relationships Provide clear and concise updates to clients and agency leadership Forecast and track key account metrics, reporting on account status and opportunities Maintain accurate records of account activities, using CRM tools and reporting on customer insights.

Requirements



Minimum of 7 years' experience in an agency setting or in professional services Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs in the context of agency services Proven track record in growing new business Proficient in digital best practices, technologies, and trends - a plus if you have experience with Drupal, WordPress, or other open source technologies Experience managing client relationships and acting as an escalation point Comfortable with public speaking, event participation, and presentations Track record of setting and achieving goals in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills in both French and English
