Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is looking for a collaborative Senior Account Director with a passion for Volkswagen, one of the world\'s most iconic brands. Reporting to the VP, Business Lead, you will lead deployment of customer-driven digital-first marketing campaigns alongside a dedicated cross-functional team. This is a 12-month maternity leave contract position, with health & dental benefits.

What you\'ll do:

  • Client | Become a trusted advisor for your client. Know their business and competitive landscape and champion the work. Provide strategic insights and guide the business by recommending solutions and optimization opportunities to achieve key business KPIs.
  • Team | Work with strategists, creative, UX, business analyst, development, and analytic teams to create engaging and impactful work. Collaborate to develop briefs. Direct and guide your team to ensure campaigns run smoothly and enter the market on time and on budget. Oversee and motivate direct reports. Collaborate with other lines of businesses to provide insight on digital first campaigns.
  • Process | Oversee the daily operations of your assigned portfolio.

What you\'ll need:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in a creative or digital agency.
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Deep digital marketing experience including SEO/SEM and web application management.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS systems and working with UX.
  • Experience building partnerships and positively influencing team members and clients.
  • Skillful at crafting and presenting compelling points of view to support ideas, concepts, and strategic direction to clients.
  • Automotive experience an asset.
