Meta IT Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for administering our account systems, preparing
,
analyzing, and verifying financial information to support
decision-making and ensure compliance
with Canadian accounting standards
.
This role requires advanced knowledge of SAP and
QuickBooks accounting systems
.
Interaction with our headquarters in Brazil to ensure
compliance in all
transnational transactions. Knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax
regulations is an asset.
Plan and administer our accounting systems (SAP S4 Hana, AllStrategy and QuickBooks).
Prepare financial information and reports for management, stakeholders, and
government filing requirements.
Examine accounting records and prepare financial statements.
Conduct Variance Analysis and report findings.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures and internal
control.
Develop and maintain cost finding, reporting and internal control procedures.
Analyze financial records and provide recommendations to support strategic
decision-making.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings with recommendations for
improvement.
Examine financial accounts and records, and assist in the preparation of income tax
returns from accounting records.
Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
Oversee Payroll processing.
Necessary Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
At least 5 years of experience;
Proven knowledge and experience in SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD), and QuickBooks.
Knowledge of All Strategy Financial Management Software
Ability to review, analyze and comprehend complex financial information, perform quality
assurance and prepare formal financial reports;
Understanding of Brazilian taxes is an asset
Ability to speak English;
Portuguese is an asset.

Wage: CAD $38.72 hourly/40 hours per week, equivalent to CAD $80,537.60 per annum
