Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight between locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety. Perform minor automotive repairs or maintenance on the truck as necessary.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in freight transportation and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading/unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
