SEMCO Energy - Supervisor Operations

The Supervisor for Regional Operations, under general supervision, plans and directs the work activities of field personnel. This includes the installation, operation, and maintenance of gas service lines, pipelines, meter installations & maintenance, emergency response, regulator stations and gas storage fields within the assigned geographic area.

You Will

Oversees field operations on the day-to-day installation and maintenance of gas service lines, pipelines, meter installations & maintenance, regulator stations and gas storage fields as assigned.

Directs the fulfillment of project assignments, within budget, with quality, and on schedule.

Develops and implements departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures consistent with Company goals and objectives.

Ensures company internal control procedures and processes are followed and periodically reviews internal controls and processes for improvement.

Trains, monitors, coaches, develops, and evaluates unit employees.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and cross-departmental training.

Prepares regular and special reports for regional operations.

Partners with construction contractors and outside vendors to ensure that safety, compliance, efficiency, and financial parameters are followed.

Administers and enforces Company safety programs.

Required to stand on-call in the Eastside Supervisor On-Call rotation.

You Have

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, engineering, and/or related field equivalent experience.

Minimum of three to five years of related work experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Thorough knowledge of the construction and maintenance of natural gas transmission and distribution systems and related equipment.

In addition to our standard benefits package, the estimated base salary for this role will range from $86,500 - $110,000, depending on experience.
