As an Select Client Service, you demonstrate advanced client service skills and insurance knowledge relating to high value and complex personal lines and auto risks to support our clients in assessing and full-filling their insurance needs. You are essential in helping to achieve the goals of the company and partner organizations. You manage a VIP book of business and have a track record of achieving a high level of customer retention. You can mentor and share your knowledge with others through problem solving and analytical thinking.

Why we\xe2\x80\x99ll love You: .
  • Level 2 General Insurance License for BC
  • Minimum 3 years general insurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of Personal Lines products, particularly related to High Value Home Owners products
  • Strong knowledge of ICBC, experience with private auto products an asset
  • Ideally working towards CAIB or CIP designation
Once here, you\'ll:
  • Engage with clients to determine their insurance needs and provide expert advice to ensure their best insurance coverage and protection.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through continuous service excellence and proactive contact via phone, letter, email and in-person visits where required.
  • Develop new business opportunities by securing expiry dates and cross & up selling personal insurance products.
  • Prepare and present proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Support clients in the claims process while obtaining and communicating accurate information regarding the claim to the claims department.
  • Proactively manage and process policy renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention.
  • Employ expertise in the use of software and applications to issue and renew policies and provide professional documentation.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers and Commercial Account Executives to provide a holistic customer service experience .
  • Coordinate ICBC transactions including new plates, transfers, cancellations and endorsements.
  • Respond to client enquiries within 1-2 hours and outside of typical business hours where necessary.
